Allison Crowe and audiences experienced the "Rock'n'Rail Revue" in 2006 - a transcontinental concert tour by train.

"A Mari usque Mare" is Canada's national motto - meaning "From Sea to Sea". And that's just where Allison Crowe traveled and performed - linking the two places she calls home: Nanaimo, British Columbia and Corner Brook, Newfoundland (Canadian cities with 6,000 km of country between them but which are, remarkably similar coastal communities.)

With the gracious and generous support of VIA Rail Canada the artist rolled out from Vancouver, BC's Pacific Central Station on Mother's Day - riding the rails through the majestic Rocky Mountains and to this interview in the Edmonton studios of Alberta's legendary community radio station, CKUA.

There she joined "Nine to Noon" show host Lionel Rault for a chat and a live performance of two songs: "Whether I'm Wrong", (a 2003-penned song featured by the UNESCO-endorsed "New Songs for Peace" project), and "Effortless" (a song released later on her "This Little Bird" album).

On track for concert dates in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta, London and Ottawa, Ontario, Montreal, Quebec, Boutilier's Point and Halifax, Nova Scotia and the eastern rail terminus. From there, it was a journy over land and sea to "the rock" - Newfoundland - for shows in St. John's and Corner Brook.
